Co-Author

Dan came to Northeastern during the fall of 2014. He took on leadership roles, including President of the student-run organization, Finance for the Community and Vice President of Beta Alpha Psi. It was unsurprising that Dan would get involved with the HUB during his senior year. “Throughout my time at Northeastern, when an opportunity, like volunteering for the HUB, presented itself, I always raised my hand. Sometimes I over scheduled myself but the rewards were incredible.”

Through his work with Finance for the Community, a group that creates financial literacy education and delivers it to Boston Public high school students, Dan developed professional relationships with the Co-Founders. Co-Founder Bame-Aldred recalls his first meeting with Dan. “Here was this enthusiastic young person ready to conquer the world. You could tell he was different from his peers even back in 2014.”

Dan went on to develop Finance for the Community into a very strong organization with backing from firms like Grant Thornton. During his senior year when most students are relaxing and winding down, Dan accelerated, taking on new opportunities, including co-authoring cases for the HUB. “Professor Bame-Aldred was allowing students to write cases and exercises using Big Data Analytics tools. I wanted to be one of those individuals that got to write the cases and at the same time learn a great deal about data analysis.”

Dan continues his journey later this fall with Deloitte in Boston. He and our other outstanding senior class will be missed on campus.
